Reaching clients through social media.
The organisation I am working with is A Re-Agisaneng
Community services, the organisation offers services that mostly are made in a
private space. The environment in which the organisation operates in can be referred
to as an informal settlement/area, most people we are rendering the services to
are those who are underprivileged, they do not have much insight about the
social media communication, most of our clients use phones that do not have
internet access which prevents them from seeing the social media interaction that
we are inviting them to.
Staying online for social media communication.
Social media is a platform that has more attention in these
days, though in our community many people do not use social platforms, Many
people have become aware of the organisation since I have created the social
media pages/online platforms. I have to stay online to check up on who may be interacting
with us though social media asking for any of our services, or our funders who
may be interacting with us though social media regarding post(s) that we have
made.
